If someone learns totally the wrong thing, who’s being more incompetent: the student or the teacher? In this case, the answer is “yes.”
That IS a good lesson Ichabod’s got there, though.
Ichabod is the winner here. Even if the lesson he taught failed to get through, he still got paid for failing to teach it! (And apparently Nitpickers get paid a LOT)
Maybe that should have been the lesson?
