Gee, I wonder what possible connection Layla could have to technology that runs on brain power? 😀

I’m going to be unusually brief today, because it’s been a rather busy day (gathering up cosplay ingredients for Katsucon, among other things) and as I write this, all I can think about is how much I’d rather be in bed. ZZZzzz…

(Historical Notes: Well, if Past Me doesn’t have anything to say, I’ll throw some observations in.  I can’t remember how much I actually say about this in the old commentary, but this is around the point where the Mad Scientist Arc started to get REALLY tedious to write.  It was the longest storyline I’d written yet, which meant it had the longest stretch of pages where I wasn’t so much coming up with new ideas as I was tying together previously established ones.  It’s a proven scientific fact that writers have a lot more fun throwing out new ideas than revisiting and resolving old ones, so I eventually began to feel REALLY beat down over working on this part.  Which is funny, because NOW I think it’s the best part.  It just goes to show how different the experience of writing a story can be from the experience of reading it, even if the same person is doing both.)
