IT’S THAT TIME AGAIN, FOLKS! I’m taking the month of December to be SUPER self-indulgent and do a whole batch of comics outside the normal story! And I do mean “outside.” Just in case the dialog didn’t make it clear, the gag this time around is that this comic happening “behind the scenes,” as it were. These incarnations of the characters are aware that they’re characters in a webcomic, so there’s plenty of room for meta-gags.
And speaking of meta: Yes, Layla’s right. I did run around town and take a bunch of pictures again. There WILL be a lot more going on than last time, though. I mean, the very fact that there’s dialog this year means the narrative ambition has stepped up a tad, and we haven’t even gotten to the really interesting part yet! So keep remembering to check back here VERY DAY to stay on top of what’s going on!
Anyway, some housekeeping: There SHOULD still be fresh TWC Voting Incentives going up every Friday this month, continuing the whole Bridget & Alphonse’s Diary thing. However, since I’m queuing these posts up in batches ahead of time, I can’t absolutely promise that I’ll remember to shout them out in the commentary. However, I AM remembering to should out a blog post about previous Christmas comics that just went up on the Patreon!
