page 1377 – Do Not Wear If Tamper-Proof Seal Is Removed
Okay, I’m just gonna admit it: this dumb gag is only getting a full page to itself rather than being relegated to a single panel in another page because I REALLY needed to get it done quickly. The moment I finish queuing this post to go live Tuesday morning, I’ve gotta jump STRAIGHT into a bunch of other Otakon-related things. Not the least of which, of course, is going ahead and getting at least a head start on page 1378, so that I’m not trying to start that from scratch while in the midst of post-con exhaustion. So, yeah, enjoy getting a much closer look at this gross blobby thing than you would have otherwise! You’re welcome!
But in the meantime, I must confess that I’m still not certain if there’ll be a fresh TWC Voting Incentive on Friday or not. I was able to get this page done far enough in advance that I MIGHT be able to get one done, but there’s also a bunch of other things taking priority over the next few days, and any one of them could end up taking longer than expected. The worst thing is, we’re ALMOST at the point of wrapping up the current series, so I hate to take yet another break and push things back. But, I mean, there’s only so many hours in the day and only so much I can do about that. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
EDIT: Okay, by some miracle, I actually DID get a fresh TWC Voting Incentive done, so I went ahead and posted it. Also, in an even MORE miraculous turn, page 1378 is actually drawn! Granted, it’s not DONE. I can’t even queue up a rough draft at this point. But the line art IS all scanned and in the computer, so I’ll only have to finish the editing on Monday. I was afraid I’d have to make the whole page from scratch after coming home from Otakon, which… was unlikely.

I’m honestly curious as to whether the Paingobbler helps a person to rehydrate. Because, if it doesn’t, it only really affects the symptoms and not the cause.
Also, Mariska likely has just as much trouble with Trandozia as Trigger does. And Trigger was shown to be in tears at their children’s shows, saying “This is SO WRONG”.
Dude, it didn’t even occur to me to make this a call-out to that! I totally should have written that on the label!
It would probably be far more disturbing if the Paingobbler actively helped a person rehydrate. On the other hand it does nothing that would prevent a person from drinking water that we can see.
How can I put this in SFW terms… if the paingobbler were actively rehydrating the wearer, I wouldn’t have drawn it to have tentacles.
Is it a Migraine Ninja Kitty branded Paingobbler, or just one of those cheaper Generics? I know they claim they’re all grown in the same vat, but I still think the Generics don’t work as well.
Marhsall definitely seems like the type of person to research all the store brand versions of any products and determine which one is secretly better than the name brands despite costing less. That is, when he’s not going out of his way to get some obscure local version that’s superior to both.
Really? Because that’s proper Nitpicker Behaviour, right there. And he wants to be a chef.
…okay, I can see Marshall learning the skill both because of his parents and to ensure that he had the best ingredients possible at the least cost. And then applying it to all of his spending because it became a habit he has no good reason to attempt to break. Especially while he’s trying to save up enough to be able to quit being a Nitpicker and open up his own restaurant.
Honestly? I’d use it. I’ve had pain that could benefit from a pain gobbler. I’m at the ibuprofen and acetaminophen limit more often than I’d like as it is.
I’ve got chronic migraines, so I’ll take a dozen of them. No, two dozen!!
No, I don’t have a Paingobbler addiction!!! I can quit any time I want to!!
