page 1375 – Oh, I Thought Things Just Stopped During A Flashback
Maybe he just needs to replace that band-aid on his cheek?
Anyway, I really need to avoid saying any stuff about finally getting back on track with getting stuff done in a timely fashion, because now I really am approaching Crunch Mode for finishing up the last of the Conventional Wisdom comics before Otakon next month… and also stuff keeps breaking around the house, which is never not disruptive. If I go tempting fate again, who KNOWS what could randomly explode on me by tomorrow?
Also, I thought about having Avatar remark on Tax being more observant than expected, but then I remembered that, by this point, Avatar’s just sort of rolling with that as it happens.
EDIT: SORRY IT’S LATE AGAIN! New TWC Voting Incentive is up! I started working on something stupidly elaborate last night, then fell asleep half-way through. Oops.

No chance they need all those bandages. HIRO is the one grabbing them, and he’s the most likely to be injured. I’m not saying the other’s aren’t accident prone, just that Hiro is five times as accident prone as the next one, so whenever any of them is injured, it’ll be alongside Hiro, at best. Even if Hiro is absolutely nowhere near, the rest of the group is likely to find him in the accident ward right next to the one of their group that was injured for unrelated reasons.
Also, Avatar is implying that Tarkus doesn’t already have five of every kind of bandage in existence in his backpack, which just CAN’T be the case.
She’s probably just being conversational.
Avatar is, of course, familiar with the specs of the model of City-Ship they stole, and that it comes equipped standard with the AD-367 Model Landing Pod they crashed into the ship with, and so, logically, gathering that type of bandages (which Tarkus would certainly already have, but probably not that brand, he’s got expensive top quality ones, not the discount type the Cap’n keeps in stock) probably means they’re trying to repair it, so she probably ought to try to stop them before they cause more mayhem, but the fix with the bandages is likely that one from that one online Neva vid that only works 22% of the time, because it’s really intended for the AD-367b, so…meh, whatever, it’ll probably be fine.
