Far Out There

Okay, just in case you missed the explanation earlier, I’m queuing this page a whole week in advance. By the time YOU see this page, I’ll have been on the road for a funeral, and needed to go ahead and load SOMETHING in advance, just in case all that travel didn’t leave enough time to get something drawn after the fact.  Hopefully, I’ll have had time to swap out the original rough draft with a finished, colored-in version by then, but since I still don’t even know how long I’ll be on the road at the time of writing this, it’s better to be safe than sorry.

Also, I must confess that this wasn’t even supposed to be the next page, I just needed something I could bash out in VERY short order.  Sorry about that.  Things should be more or less back to normal next week… just in time for me to start getting distracted by my next anime convention trip looming!

EDIT: Well how do you like that?  I managed to slip in and swap out the rough draft with a finished page AGAIN!  Granted, I wasn’t able to do as much as I’d hoped.  I was secretly hoping I’d be able to re-do the panel layout to something a little more vibrant, but that was just going to be too time consuming to get done in time (original rough draft HERE for those who care).  But I did get something done!  And hopefully, after this, the next couple of weeks will be on the usual schedule again.  Luckily, I wasn’t the one driving over the weekend, so I was able to make some real progress on getting rough drafts for future pages sketched out.  That’ll make things a LOT easier in the near future.
