Far Out There

Okay, things just got complicated. On Saturday, my Grandmother passed away, which I’m not bringing up for sympathy points or anything, just to explain what’s going on for the near future. As I write this on Sunday evening, I’m going ahead and queuing up this rough draft of page 1371 to go live on Tuesday, so that I can go ahead and work on a rough draft of page 1372 to queue up for NEXT Tuesday.  I’m gonna be on the road during a chunk of this week for funeral stuff, and I’m afraid if I don’t go ahead and get next week’s comic at least partially done ahead of time, it just won’t get done at all.  Once that’s taken care of, I’ll come back to THIS page and get a final, finished draft made.  If we’re all SUPER lucky, I might even manage to get that done before the page even goes live on Tuesday morning, but I’ve got no idea at this point.  I’m also not sure what all this will mean for a TWC Voting Incentive this week.  I might not have time to do one, I might get one up the same time as usual, it might get done but go online early because of travel time, I dunno.  We’ll see.  Sorry for making everything weird, gang!

EDIT: Wow, look at that!  I actually DID manage to polish this page up a bit!  It’s a miracle!  And yeah, the fact that I’m writing this now means that NEXT Tuesday’s comic is already queued up as well, or at least a rough draft is.  As soon as I get updated version of the page loaded, I’ll press on and see if I can get a new TWC Voting incentive ready to go as well.  If so, watch below for a second update notice to appear.  (Boy, I’m glad I had a sudden burst of productivity with Conventional Wisdom last week, otherwise I’d be in real trouble on that front right now) Oh, and just in case you were curious, here’s the original rough draft of this page for you comparing/contrasting enjoyment.

OTHER EDIT: HOLY CRAP!  I have no idea how it happened, but I somehow managed to get a fresh TWC Voting Incentive done BEFORE this page went live!  Yeah, I just went ahead and swapped out the previous one with the new one right now, because after all this productivity, it is VERY likely that I’m just gonna crash for a day or so.  I’m afraid if I don’t go ahead and do it, I’ll forget during the scramble to get packed and get on the road.  But yeah, I just went and hit 2012-me level of content generation all of a sudden!  Shame it couldn’t be under nicer circumstances, huh?
