Page 148 – You Are Here… Wherever That Is
*sigh* I went and made things difficult for myself again. In the rough draft, the middle panel showed a long hallway, but that seemed too much like the previous page so I changed it to a big atrium. It was the right call design-wise, but I really wish I’d thought of it before yesterday afternoon. Because I had to rush the re-design, I don’t like how the frame is laid out at all: there’s too much wasted space and all the cool stuff is happening in the background. Well, at least there IS a background this time.

I just rearead this page, and have to say: Oh Boy, remember when Swine Flu was relevant and thought of as something worrying? Covid 19 really makes the worst of Swine Flu look like a practical joke, doesn’t it.
maybe, maybe not. there’s been a lot of different swine-originated flus – there’s some evidence the 1918 one was (for some reason it’s hard to prove things conclusively a century later) which makes covid look minor…there’s always SOMETHING worse… so i’m still going to be wearing my mask the next time i visit the local hog farm just in case….
