(Historical Notes: Two major things to mention about this comic.  First, this page is the reason why page 1036 only exists in a low-quality version now.  That bottom panel was the result of some really awkward and needlessly complicated mashup of multiple files, since I never did figure out an easy way to stretch text layers in Manga Studio.  In the midst of all that confusion, Past Me somehow mistyped the file name for this page AND breezed past all the idiot-proofing steps intended to prevent the exact thin that wound up happening.  A rough, text-free copy of this page wound up overwriting the master of 1036.  This is what happens when you’re too busy and burnt out to pay attention to what you’re doing, kids.  On a more art-related note, the boxes in that bottom panel are actually all upside down.  The original art just wasn’t looking “right” to me until I flipped it over, which really shouldn’t be the case, since now it seems like several of the boxes are “laying” on nothing but thin air.  I guess it works better for me because now the top of the image seems to be looming over the viewer instead of receding away?  Maybe?  Somebody with more education on how the brain deals with art stuff would need to weigh in on this one, and Lord knows that ain’t me.)
