Far Out There

So… this page here is many hours late. Why, you ask? Well, it was the first one I did from scratch after all those weeks of doing nothing but Conventional Wisdom, and… I kind of forgot how. I don’t just mean I lost track of the update schedule, I mean I literally blew the whole day trying to relearn how to draw these characters properly (to say nothing of actual page layout, which which is still pretty off) Seriously, the whole afternoon spent just doodling and doodling until I got back in the groove enough to even START work on this page. Adventures in cartooning!

Unfortunately, this page taking so much longer to finish means I wasn’t able to get a new Voting Incentive whipped up in time. I can absolutely guarantee there’ll FINALLY be something new behind that Voting button by Friday, though. Really for real! A whole new serious of behind the scenes thinggies!

(Historical Notes: Fun story, but this page took FOREVER to re-edit because of how messy everything was.  I ended up not even trying to clean up half the errors here because I’d blown so much time on the other half.  I repeatedly cursed out Past Me for being so sloppy and wondered what on Earth possessed me to post the page in such a state… and only just now, as I copy/paste the original author commentary, does it all make sense.  You gotta understand that I don’t keep that text stuff saved anywhere on my computer, it’s all just on SmackJeeves, so there’s a lot of stuff I don’t re-discover until mere minutes before these re-posts go live.)
