Ah yes, the classic April Fool’s update. Or, in my case, “let’s draw a totally different kind of comic day”. WHat can I say? I just don’t like trying to deliberately mislead anybody, and it’s not like anyone actually BELIEVES any of that stuff when they see it.

So, yeah, SPRITE COMIC! I actually used to do a LOT of these back in the day (as anyone who’s gone prowling around my Photobucket gallery knows) Personally, I don’t agree with people who think sprite comics are terrible by default. I think if you’ve got a good enough idea, you can make any medium work… but that’s not very funny, so “hahahaha, look at that stupid sprite comic!”

Obviously, tune in Tuesday for the next REAL comic.

(Historical Notes: Oh wow, with Photobucket on lockdown now, most people actually CAN’T see all the old sprite comics I’m referencing here… which is probably for the best.  Then again, most of those sprites turned out a LOT better than these did.  I tried to cram waaay too much detail into the 16-bit Mega Man template, these should have been much more simplified and stylized to work within the established limitations.  And why is Avatar’s hair so… deflated?)
