Far Out There

OH SNAP, MORE GLIMPSES OF FUTURE CHARACTERS. Obviously, we know who Ichabod is, and we’ve seen Sophia and Claire previously. But the rest of these people? They’re all waiting to be properly introduced in future plot lines… at which point there’s no telling how their designs might have changed (that’s why I stuck everyone in these matching Nitpicker Uniform things, less pressure to come up with multiple iconic outfits on the fly)

(Historical Notes: Okay, THIS set of early bird cameos actually HAS fully paid off by the time  I write this in 2020… or at the very least, we’ve seen more of these people.  Obviously, Ichabod’s nitpicking bestie Mariska made multiple appearances before finally arriving at the ship shortly the hiatus started.  On either side of her we can see May and Marshall, who also made the odd appearance before FINALLY getting officially introduced during Mariska’s arrival.  The two you might have trouble recognizing, though, are the pair on either side of Ichabod.  That’s the Rumstads, who’ve been BRIEFLY seen as the nitpicking couple who trained Ichabod and Mariska as kids, but still have their most plot-relevant appearances yet to come.  So I guess that’s still a bit early bird for you.  But while you can still look forward to seeing all these characters again, don’t look forward to this “Nitpicker’s Uniform” turning up in the future.  While I still kind of like the idea of Sophia enforcing some kind of dress code around Nitpicker HQ, what we’ve seen of these people in general suggest that they don’t stick to someone else’s instructions on how to dress very well.  That, and I just don’t think these things look very good.)
