I’m torn over this one. Part of me really regrets introducing all these characters via headshots and text blurbs. Showing is always better than telling, and I’m sure it would have been more interesting to see glimpses of what everyone was doing the day before they got kidnapped… but then the story would be an extra five pages long, and that just couldn’t happen.

That said, I DO like how these characters turned out. I’m totally gonna be looking for chances to squeeze them into future stories (‘cos, you know, Far Out There is really lacking in secondary characters right now)

(Historical Notes: I liked how the characters turned out SO much, that the top half of this page is actually just the doodle page where I sketched out their rough drafts.  I was SUPPOSED to go back and go it again as something more dynamic, but I was in a hurry and these turned out decent enough.  “Decent enough” is sort of the high water mark for the art in this story)
