St. Migraine-tine’s Day (2026 edition)
Okay, so in the commentary for yesterday’s birthday comic, I joked about how it’s always possible for me to forget to do something. And then I went to queue up THIS comic… and found I’d forgotten to save it. Seriously, I edited the whole image and apparently just closed the whole thing down without saving and went right on to the next thing I had to do. So if the art here seems a little rougher than it should be… it is, because this is the VERY rushed second take. Sorry about that.
…but you gotta admit, this goofy idea works better than it really has any right to.
Anyway, we SHOULD be back to business as usual by Tuesday, with more REAL pages of Far Out There… though I’ve also got a whole stack of new Conventional Wisdom pages to finish up, so who knows. As this whole page clearly demonstrates, there’s no telling what goofy turns my work flow will take!

I looked back at the Migraine Ninja Kitty pages to see if this had already been done, which ended up with me re-reading the page where Tax effectively states she’s interacted with Avatar from before she was Avatar.
…actually, I’m starting to think that Tax and Avatar were both in the same Mad Science Experiment Lab, from which Avatar was “donated” to a group project to record human history and Tax was… temporally messed with.
Extra points (for me) if Stillez was formed in the same location, potentially to be the end of the universe Avatar was supposed to survive. And Tax is a stabilising influence on Stillez because Stillez has some level of memory of life before she was turned into a super weapon.
I really SHOULD do the whole *bites tongue* gag here, but I do want to point out that such an interpretation of Tax’s ramblings takes a bit of an… overly-linear view of what she’s talking about at any given point.
