page 937 – JIIIIIIIIIIIIIINX
Well, I had HOPED that having today’s page already inked and scanned in advance would guarantee it would get done earlier than usual. Alas, I didn’t count on basically collapsing in a heap the second I got home, so I didn’t even get STARTED on editing anything until early this morning. It also kinda didn’t help that I was BOUND AND DETERMINED to find a screenshot of the old After Dark screensaver module GraphStat to serve as the background of the screen in that last panel, which took a remarkably long time to track down and, of course, contributes NOTHING to the actual content of the page.
Still, for something that was so bashed out at the last minute (editing-wise) I think this turned out pretty well… AND marks the final, for real onset of the next plot arc! YAY!
Oh, and I should also confess that today’s Voting Incentive was another contributing factor to this page’s lateness… but I think it was worth it. If nothing else, it’s waaaaay less creepy than Tuesday’s page (and slightly plot relevant!)
(Historical Notes: For all the stalling and delays that would follow, it IS true that this does mark the start of the new plot art. I even started a new folder on my computer and everything!)
Ichabod, you said that out loud because Blitz needed you to for the gag to work. Realising that you’re a character and your disasters will always occur whenever you’re independently feeling good about yourself is the first step to recovery.
