This is what mad scientist dates look like.

So, Animazement is over and I’m simultaneously trying to recover from the weekend itself, and get over the scramble to finish all that comic stuff BEFORE it, AND get the new Animazement comics done faster than the MAGFest comics took. Do I even have to explain how I overslept and that made this comic late?

Oh, and here’s a weird turn of events: for the first time in a while, the main comic actually has MORE color than the Voting Incentive …though that one was still a lot of fun to draw (and is also Mad Science related to boot!)

EDIT: wait, what happened to the page title? I thought for sure I’d put it in. Oh well, it’s there now. Hope this doesn’t break any links.

(Historical Notes: Look, the whole Synthwave/80s-Revival thing was still fairly novel when I drew this page, alright?  It wasn’t anywhere near as played out as it is now.  But man, let me tell ya, as much as this one page still looks good in isolation, I am SOOO sick of the pink/blue color pallet.  I wound up using that pastel color scheme waaay too much, especially once Avi and Lynne started showing up.  When regular updates resume, expect to see a LOT more red and yellow in future comics… Did I already say that?  I feel like I already said that on some previous page.  Well, it bears repeating.)
