(Historical Note: Ahh, back in the days when I actually tried to have an active forum for my comics… by forcing the exact same interaction that was already happening in the comment section. I’d say that it would have been better to focus more on activity that was really unique to that setting, but I doubt even that would have saved the forums from the Internet’s general shift away from that kind of platform. Also, I totally don’t remember what the deal was. I don’t THINK it was Conventional Wisdom related by this point)
I was going to ask if this sequence was inspired by Lady Gaga’s meat dress, but this comic apparently originally went up just over 2 years before that event (which happened Sep 12 2010), so that explanation won’t work.
