page 775 – staying focused
Man, it feels like it’s been a while since we got to see Trigger sabotage anything, right? Of course, even if he wasn’t good at this sort of thing, I;m sure Layla still would have found a reason for him to get the job that involved hiding behind a closed door, away from all the action.
Speaking of action, I’ve still got a FEW more of these goofy Astrid Voting Incentives left, though we’ll be shifting gears again pretty soon (and don’t you guys let me forget to update the Incentive Gallery this time!)
EDIT: Just thought I’d throw this out there for people to chew on, but I haven’t drawn this year’s Halloween comic yet. Anyone have any ideas who should dress up as what?
(Historical Notes: I’d totally forgotten, but the reader feedback on Halloween turned out to be pretty dang close to what actually happened. I really MUST have been hard up for ideas that year! Also, who doesn’t like Big Sis Layla?)
Big Sis Layla is adorable adult Layla. Kind of like Secret-Private-Hideout Layla is adorable child Layla. But Public Layla has a reputation to uphold and demands to be in charge, so Big Sis Layla and Secret-Private-Hideout Layla aren’t allowed to be seen most of the time.
Oh, every mode of Layla demands to be in charge, it’s just a question of whether or not she’s gonna be nice to you about it.
My meaning for “demands to be in charge” is that Public Layla is the one that demands to be in charge of LAYLA. It’s why she’s rarely nice about whether or not she’s going to be in charge.
