page 752 – well that makes sense
I have no idea how Stilez knew where Ichabod’s ship was. Maybe her sense of smell is really good.
I’m also not that thrilled with Stilez’s arm in the second panel. I was trying to do some perspective wonkery, with it the arm being all in your face and stuff. Instead, I think it just turned out looking all stubby, with the hand even more too-big than they usually are. Oh well.
Anyway, I’ll be in Baltimore for Otakon by the time this page goes online, but unless I screwed something up with the files on Thursday, there’s should be a fresh Voting Incentive waiting for you all (and if you just so happen to BE at Otakon, keep an eye out for me and say hi!)
(Historical Notes: I really wanted to try and do something to fix that arm, but those background effects immediately make it WAY harder to do that sort of thing. And really, I’m pretty sure I’d need to re-draw the whole arm from scratch for things to start looking any better, and that’s one of the rabbit holes I’ve forbidden myself from falling down here. Anyway, here’s a fun fact for you: when this whole fake-out with Stilez and Tax originally happened, Past Me figured they wouldn’t actually be around THAT much longer. Surely, I’d exhaust the potential material from having them around in, like, six months or so, and then Ichabod would drop them off someplace. It’d be over than less than a year, surely. Ha. Ha ha ha. Present Me is laughing at you, stupid Past me.)
I still like Layla trying to protect Trigger there.
Yep, right there in the corner of the last panel. In this case, the “NO” on her jumper means “No harming my little brother!”
Layla’s natural state, right there.
