Far Out There

Wow. This is the page The Universe itself swore would NEVER get finished. Seriously, EVERYTHING that could POSSIBLY gone wrong with this thing did go wrong, and it’s not even a very complicated page! But I had to redraw and redraw again, and there’s even more that I SHOULD have redrawn. I had to drastically edit stuff and move panels all over the place (if you didn’t notice the text bubbles don’t fit the dialog already… well, you’ll notice it now). THEN I started having technical difficulties, up to and including losing an almost finished draft and having to color all over again. Heck, I even fell asleep at the computer in the middle of everything! So, yeah… There’s plenty of good reasons why this page is so absurdly late.

But hey, it IS done now, and all things considered I still kinda like the end result.

Oh, and somehow, in the midst of all this, I STILL managed to get a new Voting Incentive done. THAT is a miracle, friends.

(Historical Notes: Looking at this page now, I have a newfound sympathy for the everyday annoyances Astrid must have to put up with.  To paraphrase something Trigger will say in a few hundred pages, those things look like they’re ALWAYS getting in the way.)
