page 678 – watching someone watching someone
This has a habit of happening to Trigger with surprising regularity.
Not much else to say here. I could probably ramble on about how this acts as a counterpoint to all the technobabble last time, or the contradictory aspects of Trigger’s character… but really, I just need to crank out a page really fast to make sure I’ve got my AUSA trip covered, and Avatar watching in silence is VERY quick! …and green!
(Historical Notes: It was quite rightly pointed out that it make PERFECT sense that somebody obsessed with breaking stuff wouldn’t have the slightest clue how to keep things organized. Sure, you could argue that Trigger’s also supposed to be good a sneaking around, and should know how to avoid leaving any sign that he was there, but we’ve seen multiple times that he’s nowhere near as good at the non-chaos-causing stuff. He clearly put all his points into maxing out his Sabotage stats.)
Trigger didn’t only max out his Sabotage Stats, but also his Hardware Stats, causing them both to double in effectiveness when he’s destroying Hardware. And, while he does have levels in Stealth (and, potentially, organisation), he’s rarely had to actually use it, so it’s still on the beginners levels.
