Original note – July 11, 2008
If you’ve payed much attention to the stuff I go on about in these notes, you’ve probably noticed that I don’t toot my own horn very much. heck, I’m probably the most vicious critic of my art in existence. I bring this up because I don’t want the significance of the following statement to be lost on anyone.

This is my favorite page of Far Out There I’ve ever done. Out of the 65 pages so far, the 150+ additional rough drafts rough drafts I have built up, and all the extra half-formed ideas I’ve got floating around my brain, this is the ONLY one that actually made me laugh out loud when I came up with it. I don’t know if this cracks anyone else up as much as it does me, but I still think it’s a hoot.

(Historical Notes: Over a decade later, this is STILL one of my favorite Far Out There pages ever.  It’s also the definitive point where I finally figured out what Trigger is about as a character.)
