Page 508 – Oh wall of text, how I missed thee
So, it’s another really late page, but you know what? This time I don’t feel bad about it. The whole reason this page took so long was because, for the first time in a WHILE, I finally got to draw each panel separately. The deconstructed pile of computer panels looks a LOT better than the mound of cables we saw last week. Speaking of which, the lighting tricks in the last panel turned out a lot better than where Trigger and Avatar were working earlier. It’s not perfect (I didn’t think one screen would light up the whole mess enough for it to be clearly seen, but mixing the pure while light from the emergency lamp with the green got kinda messy) but it’s the most visually interesting thing we’ve had around here in a long time.
(Historical Notes: I’m not gonna lie, folks; my eyes glazed over trying to read the “explanation” on this page. I probably shouldn’t have bothered trying to have it actually make sense and just gone for broke with crazy sounding future-tech speak. That’d have been less brain-bending to write AND funnier to read.)
