page – 23 Logical Fallacies, And How To Make Them Work For YOU!
Original note – Mar 14, 2008
Dang, this was a TOUGH one to do. For one thing, Pages 22 through 24 started out a one page, which I had to SEVERELY break down and rewrite. On top of that chore, the dialog was very hard to get right (for the first time, I had to write out a script BEFORE doing the art). I probably over-thought it, but it would have been really easy to screw this thing up.
You see, everything Layla says here is bunk; Ichabod did his job perfectly and his ill-chosen comments these past few pages have nothing to do with that. What Layla is RIGHT about is knowing how to get under Ichabod’s skin and throw him off balance. A con artist’s gotta know stuff like that, ya know.
He’s not going to get high marks on that “Customer comment” card he gave her before, is he?
Now I have to write a scene with a bunch of off-duty nitpickers playing random games with all the angry comment cards that nobody ever, EVER actually reads 😀
