An important ball starts rolling around this point, so pay attention!
Once again, this was actually meant to be just half a page, with everything to be on Page 18 crammed below it. I need to learn to stop writing so dang small.
(Historical Note: Yes, that was totally the problem. My handwriting on the rough drafts was too small. Keep telling yourself that, past me.)

@alt text – apparently shapeshifting is pretty common – Tabitha later doubled in height, while Layla shrank!
Hey now, Layla’s always been the same height. She definitely expanded OUTWARDS in multiple places, though.
