page 1408 – These Pages Keep Making Me Hungry
Time for more Artist Talk: This page was originally just going o be the first panel in a larger page, and was also supposed to set up a running gag of Bridget and Alphonse running around in the background with increasingly comical piles of junk food in their arms… buuuuuut the later turned out to be too complicated while I was sketching out the rough drafts for the pages too come, so I had to drop it. With that in mind, I decided to make a whole page out of this bit, just so that the twins wouldn’t completely disappear from narrative.
After all, it’s not like they’re also staring in their own TWC voting incentive series right now or anything.
Also, I eventually didn’t tag Tabitha on this page… even though she’s literally the only one speaking, she doesn’t actually APPEAR in the comic. I give myself really weird things to stress out over.
No, Tabitha should definitely be tagged for this page. There’s precedent. Tabitha’s Mom is tagged for lots of pages where we only hear her voice.

@ Incentive: There is actually a good reason for that. Tabitha’s gun DOES need to charge, but it’s typically charged by the time Bridget gets to the monster. Honestly, the only reason for making the weapon, most of the time, is as a backup in case Bridget gets tired of punching or in danger of being harmed. If it wasn’t for that risk, Tabitha wouldn’t really need to make the weapon at all, and instead could just ask Bridget to take out said threat.
It’s like how all those TV shows where they don’t use the big super stock footage attack until the END of the episode instead of just opening every fight scene with it.
