Far Out There

Wow. I can’t believe I finished this page as early as I did, and NOT just because I’m so easily distracted. There’s a little rant about why it took me so long to start work on this page, but to save space, I’m restricting it to the Forum

Anyway, it looks like I was a TAD over-dramatic about the Cameo Fest. Aside from some emergency infusions of more characters (thanks Ag!), it turns out I’m not running as low as I originally thought. So many people submitted their whole casts that I managed to lose track of which of those characters had already appeared and which hadn’t. So, at the moment, the cameos should last at least a few more weeks. That’s no reason not to send in MORE characters, though!

Ironically, having said that, there’s only ONE cameo today. Hey, it’s the exact same crowd as Friday! There’s so space to cram in anyone else!

Anyway, in the first panel, behind Trigger, we can see Odessa from BlkKnight’s Crossing Death.

(Historical Notes: Holy crap, even by the standards of this comic’s early days, that head is WAY too big.  That’s less dreamy bishounen and more terrifying huge-eyed monster.  Sadly, I don’t think I ever really got good at drawing Dr. Vanderslice until WELL after he’d stopped appearing in the regular comics.  It’s almost as if drawing attractive young men isn’t very interesting to me.  Can’t imagine why THAT would be.)
