Man, a kid should NOT already have a past as shady as Layla’s…

Cameo stock is still running kind of low, gang. Unless I get a storm of new characters in, we’ll probably be done with the whole Cameo Fest by this time next week. Well, in the meantime, here’s who we’ve go today:

In the first panel, right of the guy with the beard, is Claire from the Mad Scientist Wars

…and just right of HER is Volty from DrProfessorman’s Stupidity is a Virtue

…and to the right of HIM is the main character of Malevolent Malpractice by dgdrake

I think I bungled the cameo I threw in for myself, though. The person sitting next to Layla is SUPPOSED to be Kino from Kino’s Journey. Sadly, I kind of botched the layout so that you can’t see the sort of distinguishing feature (in this case, goggles) that make a cameo recognizable in the first place. Oh well.

(Historical Notes: This flashback feels really weird in retrospect.  Given everything we’ve seen about how Layla’s family business worked, it just feels off to see her at the desk as the one the guy is talking too.  Now, sitting in her Dad’s lap, interrupting with disturbingly un-childlike comments, THAT’D make more sense, and probably be a lot funnier too.  But I just can’t buy her basically having her own office at that point.  Also, look!  It’s Dr. Hector!  I absolutely did NOT know he’d become a recurring character at this point, nor that he’d be the Dad or husband of several more.  He was just an easy character to draw, so I kept reusing him.  That’s how about half of my creative decisions work.)
