page 1334 – And There Were No Loose Ends
…and then the next thirty pages were entirely devoted to Tabitha fixing the holes in all the floors. It’ll be a blast, guys. Just wait until we get to the subplot about adding insulation. Comedy gold.
But yeah, lest we forget, it actually was established that this whole mess really was Tabitha’s fault, so this isn’t just the Cap’n blaming somebody at random or whatever.
Anyway, in a rare twist, I’ve actually already got this week’s new Voting Incentive already penciled out as I write this, so HOPEFULLY that means there won’t be another scramble to get it done on Friday… and I really genuinely do hope that, because I definitely WILL be scrambling to wrap up unfinished Patreon stuff before the end of the month, just like always. Whee…
EDIT: New TWC Voting Incentive is up!
9/3 EDIT: Lame news, but page 1335 is dragging out a lot longer than expected, so it’s not gonna be done until Wednesday. Or, at the very least, waaaaay late Tuesday evening. Sorry!
If Bridget goes to bed, who’s she going to get to bend all those deck plates back into shape? Stilez is strong enough, but she doesn’t really understand the concept of “fixing” only “breaking”.
Bridget flattening out the deck plates would be long, boring, and, ultimately, limited in how much they actually repair, given the size of the upturned shards & hole. It’ll be far faster for Tabitha to make a machine that is outright designed to repair and flatten floors, potentially limiting it to only operating when it’s manually controlled, in order to reduce the amount of complaints she receives from the Captain for making a new Mad Scientist Invention.
…She may need Layla’s assistance to ensure that it can be understood and operated by someone other than herself, however.
