page 1321 – they’ve had this conversation before
HEY WOW! I actually got this comic online before Wednesday after all! …I mean, it’s still TECHNICALLY Tuesday …for another twenty minutes … in this specific part of the world.
But yeah, sorry again for not getting this out at the usual time. I flaked on my usual convention procedure and didn’t try to get a comic done before Animazement, and BOY that wasn;t a very good idea. I mean, I managed to avoid bringing any con crud home with me this time around, I was just super tired. Still am, actually, since now I’ve got a whole stack of Conventional Wisdom comics to get done before Otakon in August.
BUT ANYWAY, it’s been too long since we’ve seen Mad Science Mama & co. doing anything (so long that I’d totally forgotten how to dra their current outfits). Let’s fix that.
5/29 EDIT: Yeah, I hate to say it, but there’s just no way I’ll be able to get a new TWC incentive done for Friday on top of all the other stuff. Man, so wonder Far Out There’s slipped in the rankings so much lately…
Cue picture of Bridget battling some giant monster (of a potentially foodlike nature, say a giant chicken) with a giant vicious looking serrated edged sword (knife) in one hand and pitchfork/trident in the other – just as she was instructed to do.
Next TWC Voting Series “Bridget’s Meal Time Deathmatch” confirmed.
@hovertext – it works even less well when you can’t actually ‘say’…anything. (But of course Tabitha knew what she meant, somehow)
This is the whole reason I stopped drawing the twins with just two big eyes and instead started giving them whole faces. It’s honestly surprising just how much you can get across just via expressions and body language.
…especially when it’s just simplistic “BUT THAT’S NOT FAIR” child logic that needs to be communicated.
