page 1217 – a reasonable precaution
…this is another one of those pages that would have worked a lot better in a two-page-a-week schedule than just one.
But as it just so happens, there IS a special second page of Far Out There coming later this week… that I really need to hurry up and get finished so than I can get started on the ACTUAL next page, because the turnaround time between those updates is gonna be tiiiiiight.
Oh, and before I forget, weird reference time: all those tools that Bridget is carrying are SUPPOSED to be the sketchy dentistry tools from Little Shop of Horrors a.k.a. the props that got recycled for the first Batman movie. The end result is pretty much unrecognizable, though, so I felt like it’d be a bit of a waste of time to play coy about what they were from.
Solid gold pajamas? That sounds uncomfortable. Gold-thread pajamas might be better, though I think they’d have sort of a heat-sink effect.
Spoken like a true COMMONER. All Rich People know that wearing clothes that make a major statement (that is, look like they cost more than everybody else’s) is waaaaay more important than being comfortable while in them.
Solid gold pajamas do sound like something that would be beneficial for Avi to wear though. On the grounds that solid gold pajamas would likely be too heavy to move in, greatly impeding his ability to run around causing trouble. Also, he would be unlikely to consider that aspect before donning them.
