Far Out There

(Historical Notes: So, just looking at this page at a glance, what’s the punchline?  Where’s the “cymbal crash” that makes it funny?  I’m not just looking at it, I WROTE it, and I’m still not sure.  That’s because, again, this has no business being a stand-alone page instead of just one panel of a larger comic.  If the humor is supposed to be the contrast between Alphonse & Trigger’s wholesomeness and the other boys fighting, we should have actually SEEN them fighting instead of just HEARD it.  The one thing I unequivocally do like about this page is, again, the spaceship stuff in the background.  The illusion of the ship breaking through the dissipating clouds turned out VERY nicely, and really proves that Past Me was having more fun with the visuals than the writing at this point.)
