page 1132 – the greatest destructive force of all
(Historical Notes: So THIS one was mostly an experiment to try and find a different way to work around the GIF limitations but still do some equivalent of a color gradient. This isn’t the WORST idea… but it’s not a great one, either. Or, at least, I didn’t know how to do this whole crosshatching gimmick well enough for it to be worth all the trouble. Also, for a light source this big, I probably should have done at least a third frame in between the two here. More of a “pulse” than a “strobe,” you know? Aside from that, though, I do like the pointless randomness here, especially Tabitha’s “hat.” I recall this one being a lot of fun to draw, up until the editing began.)
I remember this one. I believe that either Ed8 or I started a discussion based on the destructive potential of afternoon tea. If Ed8 started it, the discussion started by comparing tea to coffee, while if I started it started by pointing out that most of the destructive potential of afternoon tea comes from politics done over afternoon tea. Then we started a discussion based on what how destructive tea actually is, especially when compared to other caffeinated drinks like coffee.
i remember that discussion! And I remember both of those specific points being addressed by us, relatively, but I don’t recall in what order. Darn that Smackjeeves! I feel like they’ve stolen a chunk of my (commenting) memories! They really need to be…smacked. Hard. Repeatedly. *insert angry face emoticon here*
Man, it’s weird how I never EVER would have remembered that on my own, but as soon as I read this, that flicker of recognition immediately hit. It really makes me wonder about how many other wild and crazy conversations are totally lost to time now.
Apparently they’re all still stored in our brains…somewhere…lurking…waiting to rise from the deep dark depths of subconscious memory once the appropriate trigger word has been spoken/written.
