Far Out There

OOOoooooh boy, this page… I was totally gonna post a rough draft this morning. After the last few pages being late, I was ABSOLUTELY going to go ahead and slap some text on the line art and get something up early, just in case. But I just couldn’t make it. Halfway through the dialog, I just couldn’t physically write words anymore and HAD to go take a nap. By the time I was in a productive state again, it was already so late that it just didn’t seem worth the scramble, so I went ahead and finished coloring everything in. So here we are.

And, honestly, it does make a sort of convenient setup to some otherwise really obnoxious news: there is no new TWC Incentive today, and there probably won’t be until the end of the month. I’m really scrambling to wrap up the last of Conventional Wisdom’s MAGFest stuff before the end of March, because I’m working on something ELSE that’s time sensitive, and with all the delays that have already been happening, it’s become clear that SOMETHING needs to take a break if I’m ever gonna finish everything else. So, sorry Becky & Gilb fans, the Incentives will start up again as soon as I get some more of this other stuff actually finished. I’ll try my best to get things sorted out quickly! Really!

Also, The Slawpocalpse is probably going to be fought over The Necronomicorn.

(Historical Notes: It’s only just now hitting me as I post this that there’s nothing on that badge.  I can’t recall if Past Me was planning to copy/paste in a picture of a badge from someplace else as an easter egg but just forgot or what.  If that WAS the plan, it was a bad one, because actually drawing out the shape of a badge first pretty much ruins it.  Even if I DID find a really nice quality screenshot of a badge from, like, Space Precinct or something similarly nerdy, it almost certainly wouldn’t have fit in the very specific outline on the page.  Maybe I WAS gonna try to create a badge in editing because I didn’t trust my handwriting for small details like that, but just couldn’t be bothered because of all the other stuff going on?  I’d believe that.)
