Far Out There

This is one of those days where I honestly don’t feel all that bad about the page going up late, since the only reason that happened was because I really got on a roll working on Conventional Wisdom stuff yesterday and lost track of time. Hey, productivity is still productivity, right? I DO, however, feel bad that the new TWC Voting Incentive didn’t go live this morning, because it actually WAS finished more or less on time, I just totally forgot to post it before jumping into the comic stuff.

Actually, I DO regret one thing: the fact that I’m running behind on posting this means I don’t have time to slip in links to all the little call-backs to previous pages found here. There’s at least four that’d be worth sourcing, but even I don’t remember page numbers well enough to find them without a lot of looking around, and that’d just make the page even later than it already is. (I’ll save anyone thinking about tracking down these references themselves a headache by clarifying that “Johnny Charro” is NOT actually a Far Out There call-back, but a Cinema Snob in-joke).

Also, Tabitha really needs to hurry up and change her clothes again, I keep loosing track of which limbs those extra belts are supposed to be on.

(Historical Notes: I’ve said it before and I’ll never get tired of saying it, one of my very favorite things about setting up a stand-alone site is the fact that I finally have the ability to tag pages for stuff I’ll probably need to look up again later.  One quick browse through the “food” tag and Past Me could have easily worked out where Gummy Feet were previously seen.  Isn’t it amazing living here in the future?)
