(Historical Notes: More juggling of characters, which definitely feels like a hallmark of the comic at this point.  It’d be tempting to say the problem here is that the cast had finally ballooned beyond the point of being manageable, and I do think there’s some merit to that, but I also think the much BIGGER problem is that there’s just not enough for all these characters to DO right now.  Aside from the new kids who’ve just turned up, and thus have some agency by virtue of reacting to everything for the first time, everybody else is just sort of stuck in a holding pattern right now.  I’ll have plenty more chances to talk about that over the coming pages, so I’ll hold off on saying my piece at the moment, but it’s really clear that Far Out There started spinning its wheels at around this point.  Even if that wheel-spinning did involve Avatar receiving hugs.)
