Happy Mother’s Tube (2025 edition)
It’s Female Parent Day again! And you know what? I am VERY surprised I’m only just now getting around to drawing Young Tabitha and Glowing Brain Mom for one of these. I mean, yeah, it makes sense that I’d hold off on it for a WHILE, since I was sitting on the reveal of Tabitha’s Mom until that TWC series wrapped up. But it still really feels like I should have already done it SINCE then. Like, I legitimately had to go browsing through the tagged pages to make sure I wasn’t forgetting something (for the record, I DID do a Valentine’s Day comic with both Tabitha’s parents, so I was probably misremembering that).
But anyway, we should hopefully have page 1365 up as usual on Tuesday… though as I’m queuing this up on Friday evening, I haven’t actually gotten started on it yet, so who knows…
…and yes. Once again, that’s the actual card I made my Mom.
If you hadn’t already done it in the vote incentive series, this would have been a great reveal for the Tabitha’s Mom mystery – since nobody expects critical plot advancement in a holiday strip, just drop a bomb on us out of nowhere 😉
The only problem would be the fact that I so frequently forget about these pages until the last minute. There’s a good chance any big reveal would be botched because I didn’t start working on the page until the night before 😀
