Far Out There

Hey look! It’s a special Fourth of July holiday page! Gee, it sure would have been nice if I’d mentioned that there was going to be one of these on Friday, right? Well, to be honest, I( drew the line art for this page several weeks ago, then forgot all about it until last night. As a result, I must confess that I pounded out all the shading in one marathon session, so it’s not as polished as I’d have liked. Oh, it’s not TERRIBLE, but there are a lot of little details I’d have fixed/changed/added if I had more time. (Stilez’s hair is a real mess, and there really should have been some sort of glow behind the “boom” sound)

Still, the orange/yellow on blue/gray color scheme turned out a LOT nicer than I expected, so I guess that’s something, right? And besides, when’s the last time we saw Stilez and Tax? It can’t have been more recent that Christmas, right? Dang…

(Historical Notes: Is this the last time I drew Stilez with the clunky shoulder pads?  There might still be a Christmas page or two left to go, but I think this is pretty close to the end of Stilez design Mark 1)
