Happy (almost 2016) New Year!
Well, here we go. One last holiday page to close out the year… and, um, it’s extremely similar to last year’s comic. Sorry to rehash things, but I was kind of stuck. My original pan was to focus more on that Gright joke in the corner… but I just couldn’t come up with a way to approach that without being waaaaay to morbid. And seeing as how I have to be heading down to Ichibancon in, like, ten hours, I didn’t really have time to come up with something new. And hey, who doesn’t like seeing Layla and Tabitha out on the town in fancy clothes?
Anyway, I was TEMPTED to make this a New Years DAY comic and just not have to do an extra page this week… but I can’t do that to you guys after a whole month of non-canonical side-story. So come on back Friday for your regularly scheduled comic!
(Historical Notes: I was strongly, STRONGLY tempted to try and add in some kind of faintly lit-up scaffolding or something around those letters, so that it’s be more clear that there’s supposed to be some sort of stage over there and not just random words floating in the night. After all, random words and numbers only appear when specific page number milestones are reached! But aside from taking too long to do, I was still stuck on the problem I had in the first place of not knowing what to make the non fireworks-part of a Gright New Year actually look like.)
