*sigh* Next year I think I’m gonna go back to unconnected, single-page comics for Christmas. Maybe then I won’t fall a full day behind like this.

Anyway, I think Astrid’s persona was the easiest and most obvious one of the bunch, she just HAD to be Ted DiBiase. The Million Dollar Man is the gold standard (pun VERY much intended) for evil rich bad guy wrestlers, so who ELSE was Astrid supposed to be? Granted, in customizing the look, she managed to absorb quite a bit of Sasha Banks (especially the shades) but the overall attitude is still basically a brattier DiBiase. My only complaint is that I couldn’t figure out a way to convincingly reproduce the diamond-studded look of the original Million Dollar Championship belt. That’s two days in a row I blew waaaaay too much time on something I had to give up on. Not good for morale (even in this one wasn’t anywhere near as big a deal)

And I’m sure somebody out there wishes I’d given Astrid more of a policewoman gimmick, sort of like a gender-swapped Big Boss Man. But let’s face it: for Astrid, being a cop is just a job, being glamorous is a LIFESTYLE.

(Historical Notes: It was rightly pointed out that Astrid is an UNDERCOVER cop, so of course she wouldn’t dress up as Big Boss Man!  EDIT: I originally typo’d that as “Big Box Man” which just sounds like a wrestling Danbo and is now something I need to see.)
