Far Out There Christmas Break – page 13
Far Out There is so far in the future that even a machine that runs on a giant glowing brain in a jar can somehow look really vintage.
At some point (I think it was a previous Christmas series?) I mentioned in the comments that I thought Megaweapon probably has a really heavenly singing voice, but he’s usually too much of a brat to actually put it to good use. Looks like that’s actually canon now! …assuming these comics actually count. I mean, this series has been WAAAAY less continuity-shattering than the Christmas stuff usually is, so I guess there’s not much reason not to assume that.
Also, YAY! A comic that’s done before noon! Let’s see if we can keep this trend alive a little longer than last time!
(Historical Notes: Another fairly decent photocollage, although it would have looked a lot better if Past Me had tinted everything green to match the glow of that Brain In A Jar. Also, while I sort of wish Vashti’s sweater had more of a stereotypical Cheesy Christmas design to it, WOW the texture on it turned out great! Look at how natural the bend in the arm looks! Past Me dun good this time.)
i love that she went from a freak out about not having a personality in comic to being a homebody off stage
For anyone else who came to see this comment and was confused, Aqua’s refering to this Christmas Comic, where Vashti speaks in the comic for the first time & breaks the fourth wall about it in shock that it took her that long to speak lines in the comic:

to be fair i was also referencing

with out thinking about not everyone binging to catch up. not sure i noticed this character arc when it was coming out originally.
i love how this page to me feels like it cements the snippet displayed in the 2016 christmas. she has a high intensity persona for on stage and off stage she is relaxed, sweet and kind
Hey, “homebody” counts as a personality!
Yeah, but “Freakout to Eternal-Chill – Introduction to Standard” is still an amusing personality shift to see.
The argument could be made that “homebody” and “eternal chill” aren’t necessarily the same. Like, Vashti does get worked up about stuff, but it’s different stuff than you’d think. She can shrug off a flying chorus of singing robot ghost brains like it’s nothing, but gets really excited over an especially effective carpet cleaner. That kind of thing.
