Far Out There

(Historical Notes: Okay, this one annoys me for an entirely different reason than the last few I complained about.  For this one, I got it in my head to use some pictures of cardboard textures as the base for all these boxes, thinking it’d make them feel more “real.”  It somehow never clicked for me until afterwards that REAL FOOD BOXES DON’T LOOK LIKE THIS ON THE OUTSIDE, they’ve got solid glossy print all over their front.  All that visible cardboard texture actually makes the boxes look way more fake, like a no-budget movie taking some old moving boxes, cutting them up, and drawing “box art” on them.  Well, at least the incorporation of the Tricorder prop worked a lot better than it had any right to.)
