Far Out There

What do you get when you mix Santa Claus and podracing? I dunno, but Blip sure seems to enjoy it.

At the risk of tooting my own here here, I’d just like to say that this is possibly the first color night sky I’ve done that I genuinely like (thank you, Blur option!) Now, if only I could figure out how to do fire in a way I liked…

(Historical Notes: I neglected to mention how frustrated I got trying to do an equivalent of a gradient with blur, only to end up with that weird stripe thing going on.  I’m STILL not sure how that happened… but it actually might be more interesting than what I’d intended.  Too bad I’ll probably never be able to do it again on purpose.)
