Far Out There

And now, everyone who wasn’t in the previous two pictures. Tadaa!

Vengeance was really hard to do in this one. For one thing, it’s just very easy to get out of practice drawing him, since he only shows up once on a blue moon. Also, I decided to give him more of an old-school Father Christmas look than the contemporary Santa Claus thing the other two have going on. Problem is, I don’t have a clue how to draw that effectively, never mind the fact that it just doesn’t look like Vengeance unless you can’t see his arms. In the end, it looks like Sephiroth cosplaying as The King of Town.

(Historical Note: I’m not sure what saddens me more, the fact that whole generations don’t actually get the Street Corner Santa joke because the Salvation Army doesn’t dress anyone up like that anymore, or the fact that a coming generation ALSO probably won’t get the Homestar Runner reference up above.)
