Far Out There

(Historical Notes: Oh, I remember this quite well.  For all of Layla’s complaints about MY complains about the lack of snow in The South, I actually took this picture earlier in the month after an EXTREMELY rare early December snow.  It was all good and melted well before Christmas itself rolled around, but actually seeing ANY white stuff on the ground while all teh decorations were out was a very rare experience.  And wow, the layer of atmospherics on top of everything really worked out great, too.  There’s no way any attempt to snap a picture of ACTUAL snow falling would ever have captured the feel of it as well as all this blurry haze.  And, of course, angry Layla is always funniest Layla.)
