And now, the traditional end-of-arc trashing of a costume I’ve grown tired off. First there was Trigger’s jumpsuit, then Layla’s cowgirl dress, and now the containment suit. Granted, the last two were just never seen again, this time the destruction is CANON. In all fairness, I only PARTIALLY hate the containment suit. As an artist, I can do curves and round things pretty well (and obviously, this costume showcased THOSE) but straight lines and sharp angles are my bane, so I could just never get the hang of the bulky equipment parts. Oh well, it was a change of pace, anyway.

Speaking of which, POSSIBLE news about the rest of this month: The big Christmas update is just a month away, and for once it’s happening that a regular plot arc is wrapping up. That being the case, I’m toying with the idea of maybe, MAYBE, switching to three updates a week to make sure this plot wraps up before December. NOTE THAT MAYBE. For one thing, I’m still not certain how many pages getting to a non-awkward stopping point would take. If an extra couple of updates still won’t get us to that point, then the extra stress wouldn’t be worth it.

…and it WOULD be extra stress, ‘cos I’m really gonna have my hands full getting those Christmas updates ready. We’re gonna do something different this time: a single, continuous story running all 25 days, in full color! If that sounds like a whole lot of work, oh it will be, but it’ll be worth it. (Not to give anything away, but you know how this “stuck on a dark, powerless ship” plot has prevented all those future pop culture jokes and background gags Far Out There usually does? Well, this Christmas we’re DOING SOMETHING ABOUT THAT!)

And of course, last but not least, a new Voting Incentive continues on an established theme. Enjoy!
