Don’t you just hate it when you dig out one of those old, ratty board games (most likely at a relative’s house) and some of the pieces are missing, or the board’s too beat up to use, or it’s some weird older version of the game where the rules are different? Or, worst of all… IT’S ALL MOLDY *shudder*

By the way, check out that person by the window. I was just making stuff up as I went to fill up space in the establishing shot, when all of a sudden, there’s this really cool-looking somebody in flip flops and a top hat with a skull! I have NO idea who this character is, but I’m TOTALLY gonna come up with an excuse to find out.

OH! And I can finally say with certainty that there IS a new Voting Incentive! I found so many weird old Far Out There sketches while packing that I’m just going to run those until I get the new long-running incentive series finished (and it IS coming along) So keep voting for some glimpses of Far Out There’s earliest days!

(Historical Notes: Wow, I really called my shot on THIS one.  Sure enough, the soon to be named Dr. Delia Jarre really would end up becoming one of my favorite recurring characters, even of the overwhelming majority of that “recurring” only happened in Voting Incentives and holiday comics.  Every time I get mad at myself for fumbling around without a plan and burning myself by trying to figure stuff out last-minute, I’m confronted by things like this where the most satisfying and long-lasting ideas really DID happen totally by accident.)
