Christmas 2010 – MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
I WANT THESE. RIGHT NOW. GIMMIE!!! GIMMIE NOOOOOWWWW!!!!
*ahem*
Sorry about that… anyway, MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYBODY! Hope you enjoyed the ultra insane amount of holiday stuff I’ve unloaded on you this year. It was… unique doing this many updates in a row, but I’d gladly do it again… assuming I can get an earlier start on it next year than I did this year.
But you don’t want to hear me complaining about my self-imposed workload, YOU wanna know what those other treats I mentioned are. Well, you see that new button? The one that says “Goodies”? Well, there you go! Lurking behind that mysterious button are TWO brand new pages:
1. The Incentive Gallery. You know those voting incentives I’ve been tossing around for months now? Well, now you can go look at all of them at your leisure! (Technically, you could have already if you’d saved the address of each one every week… but why would anyone do THAT?)
2. Far Out There Radio. This is the one I’m really jazzed about, even though it’s a totally silly idea if you really thing about it: Ever wondered what would happen if all the main characters in Far Out There had their own Pandora Internet Radio stations? Well, now you can hear for yourself! …like I said, it’s silly, but how else am I gonna pass off the numerous hours I’ve spent noodling with Pandora as “work”?
Okay, this has gone on WAY too long, so let’s wrap this up: MERRY CHRISTMAS AGAIN! Thanks for reading! See you Tuesday for boring old normal comics!
(Historical Notes: Several things to comment on here, mostly regarding pages being mentioned here that aren’t actually around any more. First, the Voting Incentive Gallery. That’s coming back as soon as I get the main page finished, this time as a sub-domain of the main Far Out There site. That’s one of the many handy benefits of finally buying my own hosting, I don’t have to set up a whole separate comic for this sort of thing. Second, Far Out There Radio. TECHNICALLY, I think those Pandora character stations still exist, but I’m not gonna be linking to them anymore. I haven’t actually used Pandora in ages, so between a lack of curation and the ever-shifting nature of licensing deals, I have no idea what they’d even sound like anymore. Besides, the fact that non-USA readers could never listen to the channels was always a bit of a downer. If anything, I might make a big index of the YouTube soundtracks I’ve been posting on Patreon once they’re all done… assuming THOSE are still all intact by then. Again, you never know what’s gonna happen with rights issues. Finally, I STILL want real versions of these ornaments!)
